Bede's Trust requires a creative and proactive individual to join the Grounds Department as a Gardener at our welcoming Senior School.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and maintenance of all gardens, flower beds, landscaped areas, and green spaces on the school’s premises. The role ensures that the school’s gardens are visually appealing, well-maintained, and aligned with the school’s aesthetic and environmental goals. You will be working closely with our Head of Gardening and Horticulture to assist with planning planting schedules, and ensuring safe gardening practices
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a qualification in horticulture, garden design or related field and is able to creatively think of garden designs and seasonal planting schemes. It is essential that applicants have a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in horticulture of garden management.
This is a Permanent, Full Time position, working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year with the hours of 07:30 - 16:30 including 1 hour unpaid break per day.
