Salary scale: £33,778- £36,972 per annum

We are currently seeking a CRM Engagement Executive who will deliver CRM communications for commercial and engagement campaigns through email marketing channels. They will be accountable for the building, tracking and reporting on all National Rail product campaigns and automations, to drive customer retention and maximise lifetime value across Railcards, Days Out Guide and National Rail Enquiries databases.
We are looking for an experienced user of Salesforce Marketing Cloud who can create campaigns as well as schedule, build and run database extracts and reports. They must be able to develop and maintain effective collaborative and cross-functional working relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and departments.
The ideal person will be:
1. Professionally qualified with a university degree with emphasis in customer behaviour, marketing or analytics.
It is essential you are able to demonstrate experience or competence of:
1. Extensive knowledge of email best practices including ESP optimisation, HTML & CSS email coding, responsive design, A/B testing, dynamic content, deliverability, customer segmentation and personalisation, and performance management.
2. Highly computer literate, with a proficiency in HTML, CSS and Adobe Photoshop, and highly numerate with extensive experience in Microsoft Excel.
3. Experience of using database campaign segmentation for use in personalised communications.
4. Hands-on technical knowledge working with Email Service Providers (ESP) and CRM platforms, e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Journey Builder, Adobe Campaign, etc.
5. Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role. You’ll likely have worked agency side or in-house in a B2C marketing role.
6. Data/Analytics experience.
7. Strong operational and commercial mindset, decisive, “get it done” what’s the ROI mentality.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment where handling pressure and achieving deadlines are normal.
9. Strong commitment to the customer experience and passionate about the role.
