Please see attached job description and person specification and below: Key Requirements: Experience:Extensive experience in Stoma nursing, with the ability to maintain and develop expertise in various aspects of stoma care. Communication Skills:Strong communication skills are essential to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams effectively. Autonomy and Leadership:Ability to work autonomously, providing leadership and guidance within a small, highly skilled team. Cross-Site Flexibility:Work across different sites within the Trust, providing flexibility to cover any gaps within the team and ensuring continuity of care for patients across all service locations. Trauma and Complex Care: As part of your role, you will also be involved in managing complex cases, particularly at the Aintree site, which is a trauma centre. This offers exposure to a diverse range of challenging cases, including trauma-related stoma care, as well as patients with multi-faceted medical needs. You will also need to be experienced in caring for patients on cancer pathways, particularly at the Royal site, which is where the majority of colorectal cancer surgeries take place.
