The role of Technical Sales Account Manager is pivotal in this ever-growing business. You will be responsible for building and managing relationships with new and existing clients, driving sales growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality automotive products and services. This role requires a blend of strong sales acumen, product knowledge, and the ability to manage accounts effectively.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development, account management, and meeting sales targets, and will thrive within a fast-paced environment. This will create a great opportunity for an individual who would like to progress their career and grow within an already successful business.
Responsibilities of Technical Sales Account Manager:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
2. Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term partnerships.
3. Identify and target new business opportunities, leveraging market research and industry trends to generate leads.
4. Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base and increase revenue within existing accounts.
5. Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer feedback for continuous improvement strategies.
6. Attend key industry events and networking events regularly.
7. Conduct sales demonstrations and hand over training to customers.
8. Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns promptly.
9. Manage stock and support the shipping of products and equipment.
10. Work closely with the technical and marketing team to ensure customers are being provided accurate information, tools, and materials.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. You must have technical understanding and a passion for the automotive industry.
2. Have a proven track record in sales or account management.
3. Self-motivated, working to self-set KPI targets and goals.
4. Confident, presenting a “can do” attitude.
5. Be well presented, personable with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
6. Commercially astute.
7. Ambitious, enthusiastic, results-oriented with the desire to succeed and grow within a business.
8. You can work well in a fast-paced, varied environment, under pressure, and to deadlines.
