SEN Teaching Assistants BS16 Full-Time ASAP Start Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are seeking Teaching Assistants to join a wonderful 2 form entry Primary School in the BS16 area of South Gloucestershire. As a Teaching Assistant within this school, you will be working closely with the Class Teachers to support SEN pupils on a 1 to 1 basis and within small groups. This school is a place where everyone is part of the community. The school thrives to support the children but their families too. The Role This position is to begin as soon as possible and continues in September. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who has previous experience working as a TA or with SEN children. Someone who is flexible and communicates well with others to ensure the pupils’ are getting the best learning opportunities with their needs being met. You will be expected to: Communicate with Class Teachers, SENCo and Parents. Build strong and trustworthy relationships. Put the pupil’s needs and interests first. Adapt activities to meet their needs to ensure they are able to access their learning.
