This is an integral role in providing support to the Planning and Management Accounts Team (Non-Clinical and Planning), enabling the Trust to meet key financial objectives whilst delivering safe and sustainable services to our patients.
The successful candidate will work with finance colleagues across all areas as well as with non-financial colleagues within their direct reporting area.

Are you looking for a finance role in a friendly team working in a beautiful part of the world? Following internal promotion we are looking for an AAT Technician or part qualified accountant to join us in the role of Associate Finance Business Support at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a pivotal role supporting the Planning and Management Accounts Team, which will Primarily support Financial Planning and Management Accounts support to Corporate to ensure that the Trust meets key financial objectives whilst delivering safe and sustainable services to our patients. The post holder will be able to work from home 2-3 days a week if they wish with the remaining 2-3 days being based in Barnstaple, Exeter or a combination of both. Alternatively we can accommodate you in the office every day if you prefer.
The post holder will deliver professional and timely financial and business support and be fully integrated with the core activities within the organisation.
The post holder will also contribute to developing a culture of strong financial stewardship and control within the Trust promoting the need for economy, efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the Trust’s business.
This role represents an excellent opportunity to use and develop your skills within a varied and busy environment. The successful candidate will be a qualified AAT Technician or Part Qualified Accountant and a member of their accountancy organisation, be reliable and flexible to respond to changing demands of the service. Previous NHS experience is desirable but not essential.
