Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Description: Job Duties: Provide specialised tutoring in English and Maths for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at GCSE level Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support the academic progress of SEN students Deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to the specific needs of each student Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a collaborative learning environment Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist knowledge and experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience in English and Maths at GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practises in teaching Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students Working Conditions: Part-time hours, with flexibility in scheduling Work primarily in a home setting or within the community Collaborative work environment with students, parents, and school staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
