What you’ll be doing:
1. Inspiring a culture of excellence and high performance amongst learners, role modelling a culture of proud professionals.
2. Delivering Fabrication trade training lessons in a safe, inspiring and impactful manner to ensure positive learning outcomes for all.
3. Day-to-day running of workshop learning/training covering all aspects of fabrication.
4. Being part of a team of professionals, and helping to develop the Steelworker/Fabrication training curriculum and associated lessons in line with training/business requirements.
5. Providing effective safeguarding, welfare and support arrangements for apprentices and other learners.
6. Maintaining Academy Diamond Standards in all activities.
Your skills and experiences:
1. A time served as a Fabricator/Steelworker.
2. Effective coaching skills and/or experience working with apprentices.
3. Highly skilled individual, with an eye for detail and a quality finish, used to working to tight tolerances.
4. Strong leadership skills, leading by example in all aspects of workshop training.
5. Passionate about training and development with a good knowledge of factors affecting delivery.
6. Training & Development qualifications at Level 3 or above or prepared to work toward.

The Fabrication Area team:
The position will be working alongside a highly skilled team of individuals to achieve learning excellence with apprentices and tradespeople alike. It will also include working and training to future standards, using new technologies that include VR & AR, and helping to establish a new training area to facilitate future business needs.
