Read on About the Role The Subsidiary Accountant will be responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of multiple subsidiaries, managing intercompany reconciliations and supporting tax reporting requirements. The role requires a proactive and analytical individual who can contribute to process improvements and maintain strong financial controls. Key Responsibilities Managing the monthly accounting process for multiple holding companies, including journals, purchase orders, GL reconciliations and forecasts. Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements and liaising with auditors. Overseeing intercompany recharges and reconciliation processes. Supporting tax reporting, including VAT returns and reporting packs. Maintaining compliance with financial controls and SOX 404 requirements. Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial efficiencies. Candidate Profile ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified. Experience in financial accounting within a medium to large organisation or in practice. A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving improvements. Strong team player with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other key applications (SAP experience would be a plus).
