Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint a Teacher of History and Politics to start in November 2024 or January 2025. This is a part-time post, working 28 hours per week, covering parental leave. The Department is highly experienced, comprising of five full-time teachers. All members of the Department have the opportunity to teach Years 9-13 and prepare pupils for GCSE and A Level exams. Other roles and responsibilities are to include: Implement the vision for the Department within teaching and learning. Follow the departmental development plan Take responsibility for the teaching and learning of pupils within each teaching group Schedule and initiate the PAT programme Develop department resources, both physical and virtual. Contribute to the co-curricular life of the History and Politics Department.
