Not only would you be doing the usual roles such as overseeing the successful delivery and management of the catering team, but you would also be involved in working closely with the school's SLT and stakeholders, finding ways to maximise the commercial potential of the schools facilities outside of when they are required by the school. This would also involve developing new business opportunities, coordinating events, hospitality operations, and ensuring commercial success whilst maintaining the highest standards of service for pupils, staff, and visitors. Job Title: Hospitality Manager Salary: Up to £43,000 DOE Locataion: Newport Duration: Permanent Hours: Full-time Start Date: Flexible (Before April) Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Create and implement strategies to drive revenue and profitability for the School’s facilities in collaboration with key stakeholders. Booking Management: Oversee the entire booking process, ensuring efficient scheduling and maximising income. Customer Liaison: Build strong client relationships to deliver excellent customer service from inquiry to post-event follow-up. Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, including caterers and cleaning services. Event Coordination: Collaborate with clients to deliver seamless events, coordinating all logistics and additional services. Facilities Maintenance: Ensure the facilities are maintained to a high standard and resolve maintenance issues promptly. Compliance: Guarantee all events adhere to health, safety, and insurance regulations, preparing the necessary documentation. Marketing: Work with the Marketing Manager to promote facilities and increase bookings. Financial Management: Develop and oversee the hospitality budget, manage operational costs, and maximise profitability.
