Job summary This is an exciting and unique opportunity for anenthusiasticclinician to join our Complex Emotional Needs Pathway and clinically lead our team or five Therapists within Sequoia Therapeutic Community. Sequoia is AIMS accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatry and delivers Mentalisation-Based Therapy in a structured 2 year (minimum) programme to adults with complex emotional needs. Main duties of the job To be an integral member of the Complex Emotional Needs Pathway and to work directly into Sequoia Therapeutic Community taking responsibility for the clinical leadership and effective running of Sequoia. Sequoia Therapeutic Community provides a 2 year (minimum) structured therapy programme and specialist key work for adults with a presentation consistent with the diagnostic criteria of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder but not exclusive to this diagnosis. Clinical leadership includes reviewing, developing and auditing the ongoing quality of the service, ensuring a commitment to the evidence based therapeutic models adopted by the therapeutic community including Mentalisation-Based Therapy.
