Role Overview: As a Healthcare Assistant in our Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from brain injuries. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and clinical psychologists, to provide support in a therapeutic environment. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, supporting rehabilitation goals, and ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care and support to patients in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit. Assist with daily activities, including dressing, bathing, and feeding, as needed. Help patients engage in their rehabilitation programs, following care plans set by the clinical team. Monitor and record patients' physical and emotional progress, alerting nursing staff to any changes in condition. Support patients with mobility and assist in transferring or repositioning them. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring a compassionate and caring environment. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for both patients and staff. Assist in the implementation of therapy and rehabilitation activities under the supervision of qualified professionals.
