Job Description
Wavenet is seeking an experienced and proactive Account Manager to join our dynamic Wholesale Channel team, supporting over 400 independent resellers and driving revenue exceeding £25m per annum. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of existing partners, with annual revenue responsibility of over £2m, while developing new business relationships and driving growth through our market-leading Cyber Security and Connectivity solutions.
In this role, you'll be responsible for nurturing long-term relationships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and delivering exceptional partner experiences. Your focus will be on growing revenue and gross profit through cross-selling and upselling, while protecting existing revenues through excellent account management and customer retention strategies.
We're looking for someone with a strong sales background, outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to quickly build rapport. You'll need to be a team player, capable of collaborating across departments to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet partner needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of partners with revenue responsibility exceeding £2m per annum
2. Drive growth through cross-selling Cyber Security services and other core products
3. Prospect and generate new partner relationships from pre-defined target accounts
4. Build strong partner relationships to understand pain points and identify upsell opportunities
5. Own the commercial relationship between Wavenet and its partners
6. Resolve partner queries and issues efficiently, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
7. Deliver against personal revenue and profit targets
8. Stay up to date with market developments and product knowledge
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven experience in Account Management or Sales within the telecoms or technology sectors
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to build rapport quickly and manage relationships at all levels
4. Target-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
5. Knowledge of Cyber Security products and services is highly desirable
6. Proactive, ambitious, and passionate about delivering customer excellence
