We've got an exciting opportunity for a Placement Development Officer to join our brilliant Strategic Housing Service whose ambition is to deliver on the aims set out in our housing strategies. The service plays a key role in delivering our Housing Improvement Programme and is now also responsible for commissioning our homelessness supported accommodation and floating support provision., This Placement Development Officer role will provide a fantastic opportunity for the postholder to play an instrumental role in developing our approach to placing people who are homeless and/or at risk of homelessness, into supported accommodation. Working collaboratively, they will play a leading role in the development of related pathways, systems and policy to ensure we are prioritising people appropriately and making coordinated, informed placements that best meet their needs.

You will need to be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, including with our partners and contractors. You will have effective research and analytical skills and be able to identify problems and find solutions.

You'll be paid a competitive salary £37,938 to £40,476 pa
