Job Title: Surveyor / Contracts Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £40K to £50K, to be discussed based on experience and skill set. Company vehicle or allowance negotiable.
Due to expansion, our client MARLOWES is looking to recruit an experienced Surveyor/Contracts Manager to join its claims management team. You will need to have good organisational skills, a strong focus on customer service, and knowledge and experience of managing refurbishment works and insurance-related perils such as fire, flood, escape of water, and storm.
They provide insurance claims management and building reinstatement services to insurers and intermediaries.
Responsibilities:
* Project management
* Managing claim journey and expectations
* Managing both employed and subcontract labour
* Complaint resolution
* Surveying duties, general peril, large loss & structural repairs
* Produce accurate schedules/estimates using client scoping tools
* Undertake audits of completed claims
* Liaise with our H&S consultants
Experience Required:
* Knowledge of the insurance industry related to residential (home and commercial) property
* Technical building knowledge
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Experience of working in a customer-focused environment
* Experience in managing both employed and subcontract labour
* IT literate with the ability to learn new technology
