Our clients are spread across the healthcare, biopharma, assisted living, food service, retail and facilities management sectors.
We are looking to expand our sales team in the UK with the addition of a new Sales Development Representative (SDR), responsible for prospecting for new business and providing a consistent flow of high quality, well-qualified sales appointments for our team of Enterprise Technology Partners.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and rapidly scaling technology business with an enormous addressable market and few true competitors across our entire product range. The earning potential is substantial, and you’ll be part of a welcoming and friendly team.
We’re looking for an experienced SDR from within the SaaS and/or IoT product sectors, with a demonstrable track record of successful sales achievement, career progression and stability. This is a hybrid role requiring a day per week in our Central London office.
What you'll be doing
* Researching potential future customers for Checkit products and services, and coming up with outreach campaign plans to contact them and get them interested.
* Using a variety of structured sales techniques to cold contact prospective customers, understand their needs, pitch Checkit, and book well-qualified sales meetings for the team of Enterprise Account Executives.
* Responding to inbound sales enquiries, qualifying them to assess relevance, and converting realistic prospects into sales meetings for the team of Enterprise Account Executives.
* Targeting Operations leaders in enterprise level companies across one or more of our key markets: Medical (NHS, private hospitals, care homes, laboratories & research); Facilities Management (typically service outsourcing companies especially in the mass catering sector); Food Retail (supermarkets, convenience retail); Hospitality & Catering (food-to-go, pub & restaurant chains, hotel & leisure chains).
* Achieving stretching KPIs around call volumes, social media engagement, customer contacts, meetings booked & quality of leads generated.
What we're looking for
* We’re looking for an experienced SDR from within the SaaS or IoT sector, with a demonstrable record of success in securing high quality, well-qualified meetings for Sales teams.
* As this is a predominantly work-from-home role, we’re looking for someone with a proven track record of successfully delivering in this type of role in a remote environment.
* Experience of being professionally trained in sales is an advantage.
* Incredible communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Collaborative and team oriented approach to work.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload.
* Highly coachable, able to retain training and apply it effectively in your day-to-day work.
* Highly driven, passionate, motivated and energetic approach, with a strong work ethic.
* Focused, gritty and determined, with the ability to keep going.
* Ability to be both persistent and consistent in the face of rejection, never letting a no get you down.
