Secondary School English Teacher
Location: Greater London, England - Clapham
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £150 - £175 Per Day
Job Duties:
* Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons to secondary school students
* Provide cover for absent teachers and maintain a structured learning environment
* Follow the school's curriculum and ensure educational objectives are met
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their development
* Collaborate with colleagues to support a positive learning environment
* No planning or marking required.
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Degree in English or related field
* Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level
* Understanding of different teaching methods and approaches
* Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional qualifications in Education or relevant subject areas
* Experience working in a multicultural and diverse school environment
* Training in safeguarding and child protection

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
