We are on our way to achieving our goal to provide Outstanding support and care to children, families, carers and practitioners across Salford.
We have a vacancy for a Parent/carers assessor to join us in the Children with Disabilities Team.
This is an exciting permanent position which has arisen on a stable, well established team of experienced staff. We are looking for someone who is driven, dynamic and passionate who could advocate strongly for the families and complete high quality assessments within legislative guidelines.
Experience within the field of children with disabilities is preferable but not essential; if you’re passionate about the role and have a willingness to learn and develop, Salford would like to invest in you and for you to join our team.
You will undertake Parent Carer needs assessments and work closely with the social worker for the child to ensure that support packages are implemented where needed. You will work in partnership with families and other professionals to deliver high quality services to our families.

You will be responsible for:

4. Being ambitious, curious with a desire to learn and reflect.

Please be aware that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and that you will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check currently £49.50. The payment for this will be deducted from your first four months’ salary payments at a rate of £12.38 per month. If you do not commence employment for any reason but the DBS has been processed, you will be sent an invoice for the payment of £49.50.
