We are currently looking for a BDM to join a specialist waste and environmental services organisation.
Responsibilities
* Lead from the front to develop new and existing business opportunities
* Develop a network of suppliers & sub-contractors in niche waste markets gaining the business a service offering we can leverage for growth.
* Manage all aspects of the company’s interaction with their customer, ensuring exemplary levels of accuracy, compliance, customer service and commerciality (with a key focus on niche waste solutions)
* Increase both existing and new business sales
* Be the primary point of contact for nominated customer related enquiries
* Fulfil orders in a timely and efficient manner
* Field customer enquiries and resolve any customer complaints
* Streamline business operations in terms of the services supplied to the customer
* Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts to be delivered to internal and external parties and stakeholders
* Champion and become involved in compliance & SHE initiatives
* Offer up alternative processes and technology to positively improve the company’s position in the waste brokering market
Experience:
* Proven track record in a commercial environment
* Waste industry experience
* Proven track record in delivering large contracts in excess of £500k
* Driving license
