IN SHORT
MK College Group have an exciting new opportunity for a creative multi skills Tutor to join the team based at HMP Rochester, which is undergoing a period of expansion due to the recent merger with the adjacent prison, Cookham Wood. This acquisition has created this new role within our dynamic and innovative team.
As a multi skills Lecturer, you will be actively engaging prison-based learners through the delivery of creative classes and engaging resources. You will be teaching a programme that introduces learners to a range of trade and construction skills that help them identify their next steps within education and beyond. You will be connecting with learners in a professional manner, supporting them with their learning, enabling them to achieve success through not only qualifications, but developing the confidence and softer skills that they can apply to employment as well as other areas of education.
We are seeking an individual who can communicate well with learners to inspire and motivate them. The average class consists of 8 learners and the sessions are approximately 3 hours long. Your lessons will need to be adaptable, innovative, and imaginative.
