A fantastic opportunity is available to help shape,develop and implement our new approach to Quality Improvement.The role of the Improvement Support Officer is to co-ordinate, progress, trackand curate Improvement activity, with a view to learning and spreading new goodpractice. Working closely with the Trust`s Improvement Community and other keystakeholders, you will help to shape a culture of continuous improvement.
You will be part of our newly established QualityImprovement Team, working in close collaboration with the Quality and PatientSafety Department including Clinical Effectiveness. You will maintain akey working relationship with our Trust and Digital Programme ManagementOffices.
There are flexible opportunitiesfor hybrid working, which includes remote work from home and on-sitecollaboration with clinical and operational teams to support improvementprojects.
We are looking for a highly skilled individualwho can use their initiative to drive forward and co-ordinate this work. You will need to be an excellent communicator, liaising with individuals, teams andsenior leads who are all invested and involved with Quality Improvement. You will support in the organisation of meetings, workshops and events andco-ordinate diaries of key stakeholders, to ensure progress happens within theagreed timescales. Excellent IT skills and attention to detail are essentialfor this role along with a positive and professional approach to allactivities.
Main duties of the job
Working in the Quality Improvement Team, thispost will support key workstreams within the QI Programme.
Our QI Projects workstream ensures staff havethe skills, knowledge, and tools to identify an issue, implement interventionsand make improvements to quality. Co-ordinating and logging projects andsharing and showcasing completed QI projects will be key to this role.
Our building capability workstream seeks tocontinuously improve staffs' ability to use QSIR tools to make improvementsacross the trust. The postholder will have a passion and drive for building theculture, conditions, and capability for continuous improvement and willco-ordinate, organise and support the delivery of this training.
This role will assist in the development andmaintenance of programme management tools and documents and will need to applya structured and systematic approach to the management of QI, logging evidence,outputs, benefits and outcomes being delivered across the variety of QIunderway.
