We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Welding Lecturer to join our successful Engineering department.
In this exciting role you will have responsibility for delivering teaching and assessing on our Engineering programmes to our apprenticeship students across levels 2 – 3.
Working closely with the Director of Learning, Programme Manager and the rest of the Engineering team, you will have the chance to share your Welding industry knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will competently plan lessons and assignments whilst you also promote attendance, participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review of all activities within your subject area. You will support and complete quality assurance processes and assess students' work.
The successful candidate must have:
* A teaching qualification (at level 3 or above)
* A relevant subject qualification at Level 3 (or above)
* Experience of delivering and assessing Welding
* Relevant teaching or training experience
* Some experience of Quality assurance would also be highly preferable
