Key Details About the Role:
* Position: Special Needs Teacher
* Students: Ages 7-16 years old
* Start Date: (as soon as you're ready)
* Type: Full-time, ongoing opportunity
* Flexibility with age levels is dependent on your experiences, and if you are Primary or Secondary trained.
What You'll Do:
* Design and deliver programs tailored to individual student needs, ensuring engagement and personalisation.
* Collaborate with a dedicated team to align lessons with individual learning and pathway plans.
* Support students with diverse learning needs and intellectual disabilities daily.
* Continuously assess and adjust student learning plans for optimal progress.
* Build strong relationships with students, families, and the community to guide student success.
* Engage with a small class of 9 students, supported by teachers, OTs, Speech Pathologists, and other professionals.
