Job Description:
Lead the Nickel Marketing team to develop and execute the global sales strategy, maximizing the value chain from mines to customers for equity products, including developing opportunities to provide material solutions to stakeholders.
This role will drive performance in the sales and marketing function, creating new sales and marketing opportunities and maximizing the sustainable value of the global sales book within risk and governance policies.
Represent Marketing at the Nickel Exco and provide market and leadership insights that drive world-class performance.

Initiate working relationships beyond the immediate team, fostering cross-commodity collaboration, innovation, and synergies for the Marketing BU.
Actively represent Marketing in all engagement with the Nickel Exco and broader business unit teams.
Target Delivery
Lead the regional sales and marketing team to reach all sales-related targets and foster strong and enduring customer relationships.
Formulate and execute the annual planning calendar and key related activities.
Optimization and Growth
Manage existing and new customer accounts and develop new opportunities/customers to sell volumes globally.
Execute the yearly equity sales budget, guaranteeing optimized routes to market, volume allocation, and netback performance.
Propose, support, and develop partnership/value-adding models with key strategic counterparts, reflected in specific commercial solutions requiring multi-stakeholder involvement and consent.
Build and develop long-term relationships with key internal stakeholders and external customers and suppliers.
Risk and Governance
Act as a thought leader in the creation of a zero-breach culture, including coaching others to embed a zero-breach culture.
Deliver the strategy within the approved governance framework.
Ensure all transactions are executed within approved limits.
People & Teams
Effectively manage the global Nickel sales and Marketing team covering sales, operations, market risk, and analytics.
Experience
At least 10 years of marketing/trading experience in Nickel and/or related products targeting the stainless and specialty steel segment.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary, global commodities sales and market organizations.
Deep knowledge of industry trends and developments in the relevant markets (nickel, molybdenum, chrome, stainless steel, etc.).
Knowledge of nickel and stainless steel processing technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in material science, metallurgy, or engineering disciplines, or advanced University qualifications, preferably in metallurgy, material science, and engineering.
