Koehler Renewable Energy UK Ltd is a small but fast-growing company operating across the UK, at perhaps the most exciting time our industry has ever seen. We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Project Administrator to join our team in Dundee. This is a varied role in which adaptability to change and flexibility is essential.
Koehler Renewable Energy GmbH was founded in 2012 as a subsidiary of the Koehler Group headquartered in Oberkirch, in the southwest of Germany. Its aim is to cover all the energy required for the group’s paper production by generating renewable energy with its own assets by 2030. KRE UK Ltd was established in 2021 in Dundee, Scotland, to support the parent company’s aims through development, construction, ownership and operation of renewable energy projects in the UK with a primary focus on onshore wind, hydropower, solar and BESS technologies.
JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Asset Manager with the operational project tasks but will also provide wider support for the day-to-day running of the office and other parts of the business. Typical tasks will include:
1. Monitoring performance of assets on a daily basis and escalating problems
2. Management of operational data and sales invoices
3. Support with monthly operational reports for hydro plants
4. Submission of data returns to regulators
5. Rental calculations
6. Office administration
7. General HR co-ordination
8. Audit support and document management
9. Executing payment cycles
10. Support with budgets and income statements
11. Liaising with contractors
12. Attend industry events as representative of KRE UK
13. Other ad hoc duties and projects as required.

ATTAINMENTS/ EXPERIENCE
1. Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office
2. 2-3 years’ experience in office administration
3. Knowledge of working within the renewable energy sector would be welcomed but not essential.
HOURS OF WORK
You will normally be required to work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 based from our office in Dundee. A degree of flexible working will be considered and assessed on an individual basis. There is occasional travel to site / events with overnight stays away from home. Full driving license is required.
