Join us as a Payroll Administrator at Thirteen Group Role Overview: Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll & HR Transactions t ea m on a fixed term basis until the end of April 2026. You would be predominantly based from home, working 1 day a week in our lovely Middlesbrough based office for 'Team Time' and then additional some ad-hoc days when the business requires. You will deliver a high quality, customer focused service, working within the payroll team to support the accurately and timely payment of salaries and other payments and deductions to our colleagues and third parties. The ideal candidate would have some payroll experience and be comfortable with everyday payroll entry, calculations and checking. A keen eye for detail, strong customer service skills and an awareness of current legislation are necessary for this role. Key Responsibilities: Monitor a busy shared inbox working to SLAs, providing advice and guidance to our customers on pay related queries Processing all aspects of payroll in line with UK legislation and company policies (including some month and year end tasks) Correct calculation and regular monitoring of payments and deductions Processing all payroll transactions with high attention to detail, prioritising own workloads and meeting strict deadlines Support the development and implementation of streamlined processes and the use of self-service tools. About You: Previous demonstratable Payroll Administration experience and experience of the effective use of Payroll/HR systems Ability to analyse and challenge people and data where this does align with policies and procedures Ability to consider the 'bigger picture' and understand impact of actions on customers/teams/processes Why Thirteen Group?
