Napier Turbocharger, a Wabtec Company, has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established business that designs, manufactures, and tests industrial turbochargers supplied into the Power Generation, Marine, and Rail Traction industries.

Location: LN5 7FD, Lincoln
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am to 15:45pm and 07:30am to 15:15pm on Friday
How will you make a difference?
We are seeking a self-motivated and resourceful Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods, managing logistics operations, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
What will your typical day look like?
* Coordinate the delivery of spare parts as part of the daily operations within the logistics department.
* Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products.
* Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimise efficiency.
* Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
* Handle shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments and deliveries.
* Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements.
What do we want to know about you?
* Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, administration, or a similar role.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
