Base Pay Range
Payroll Advisor, Widnes, Office Based, £25-30K depending upon experience.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy payroll team within a progressive, well-established firm of Chartered Accountants.
This role offers the opportunity for growth and progression for the right candidate.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing end-to-end payroll for multiple client portfolios.
* Managing statutory payments including SSP, SMP, etc.
* Liaising with HMRC and year-end reporting.
* Providing payroll advice and solutions to clients and supporting with queries.
* Maintaining and updating payroll records on Sage.
* Performing manual calculations.
* Keeping up to date with payroll legislation.
Minimum Requirements
* Experience of working within a Payroll Bureau environment and processing multiple client payrolls.
* Understanding of Sage payroll software (desirable but not essential).
* 2-3 years payroll experience, with a minimum of 1 year.
* Strong knowledge of current payroll legislation.
* Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
