Description Green Transition services concern the achievement of net zero emissions targets and low carbon transition in Europe and Asia. We provide decision-makers with evidence on impacts, advice on how policies are working and analysis of the likely effects of proposed policies. Our work is 'subject matter heavy', involving in-house experts including energy and environmental engineers, natural scientists, finance specialists, geographers, economists and related disciplines. Our services include: energy and climate programme management; evidence base and grant administration; support to clean energy investment funds; technical and cost/benefit analysis services; energy and climate policy dialogue; international technical cooperation, monitoring and evaluation services; energy efficiency auditing, and support for climate communications, including citizen engagement and climate diplomacy. We are active in energy efficiency, industrial decarbonisation, low carbon technology deployment, renewable energy, sustainable finance, climate resilience and biodiversity. Our clients include national governments, the European Commission, development banks and the private sector, across our locations, which are UK, Belgium, India, Nepal, China and Canada. For example, we are currently working on: - Communication programmes for energy-related products. - Ecodesign and labelling regulations for a wide range of energy-related products for European clients. - Technical and economic analysis to underpin decarbonisation, energy efficiency and renewable incentives and policy initiatives. - Implementing grant support programmes for small to large scale industrial decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects and studies. - Implementing financial mechanisms to deploy innovative renewable energy and low carbon technologies at large scale - Sustainability programmes in industry and commerce. - Technical and economic analysis to underpin energy efficiency incentives. We would like to add a Programme Administrator to the Green Transition "Products" team, to provide organisational support to our Programme Managers in delivering multi-year, substantial technical assistance programmes. This requirement is for an individual with >4 years' experience in a professional administration role. Responsibilities Work as part of a team under supervision to: - Setup, operate, maintain and improve internal processes for energy programmes, including detailed project trackers for internal and external stakeholders - Develop and implement additional processes (where required) to meet stringent client needs - Manage internal databases with detailed information on energy programmes - Monitor, follow up and close out outstanding programme tasks involving multiple team members - Engage with potential programme stakeholders by phone, email and social media - Manage communication with existing programme stakeholders by phone and email - Manage, follow up with and respond to enquiries across multiple programme mailboxes. - Manage the scheduling and pre-visit site engagement for onsite energy efficiency audits, along with collation and reporting of results provided by the site auditors. - Manage internal processes in making programme grant payments - Manage internal processes in processing programme grant applications - Provide administrative support to multiple consultants on multiple programmes - To prepare management reports on programme activities - Maintain appropriate records / uphold quality assurance integrity Basic Qualifications - Fluency in spoken and written English - Relevant A-levels and/or further education qualification - >4 years' experience in a professional administration role - Spreadsheet and database management experience - Excellent communication skills, including demonstrated phone and email enquiry handling - Strong attention to detail and quality assurance of management databases and reports - Proven high degree of determination to meet customers' needs - Proven problem-solving ability Preferred: - Experience with complex visit scheduling and routing, to optimise multiple site visits within a fixed time period, at good value for money, would be a significant advantage. - Interpersonal skills and proven experience engaging effectively with a wide range of UK site operators, would be a significant advantage. - Experience in managing internal databases with complex needs - Ability to continually improve and optimise internal systems - Ability to process technical information and simplify for internal communication - Interest in energy and climate issues indeed LI-CC1 About us: Working at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day.
