The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Stirling, working on a hybrid basis. This role will be responsible for analysing, defining and shaping strategic outcomes to deliver change across the business which maximizes business benefit and architectural reusability. The role includes leadership and performance management of a team of analysts.
A typical day to day would see you actively working with Transformation and the business stakeholders to shape and define business solutions. You will also be consulting with various figures, both inside and outside of the business, to understand and evaluate the impacts of change.
You will:
1. Execute business analysis with business, IT and strategic partners on large/complex projects to identify, understand, challenge and agree requirements.
2. Recommend the best method of achieving the required business outcome via the application of a wide range of analytical tools and techniques, including process mapping, re-engineering, gap analysis, statistical/database analysis and prototyping; and make clear recommendations based on sound analysis of options.
3. Interpret legislative and regulatory changes, assessing the wider impact on business procedures and in designing business solutions to ensure compliance with externally-driven timeframes.
4. Be responsible for performance management of Business Analysts, supporting their development and training needs
5. Create clear and engaging documentation, using visuals and stats to explain requirements, options, and feasibility to different stakeholders.
6. Support business acceptance testing activities, ensuring that Testing Strategy/Plans are fit for purpose and providing a central escalation point for any queries and issues arising from the Testing Team.
