Role Purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CBRE's People team for a 15-month fixed term contract, to provide HR (People) business partnering support to the London Markets & Residential Service Lines (~400 employees) in the CBRE UK Advisory business. The People priorities are retaining and developing talent, driving a high-performance culture and taking action to meet DE&I targets in a rapidly changing markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Senior People Partner for London Markets: working closely with the Senior People Partner for these areas. Responsible for assisting delivery of the People strategy in these areas.
* Autonomy and ownership of key people activity within some client groups.
* Operational delivery of key generalist people activity across the full client group.
* Provide expert HR advice and guidance to leaders, managers and employees.
* Provide commercial advice and guidance to employees and managers on policies and procedures including ownership of employee relations caseload.
* Drive insights via data and reporting.
* Deliver key People change and transformation programs, including, workforce planning, restructuring, executive hiring, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement and performance manage.
* Partner closely with People Centres of excellence to drive innovative people solutions.
* Provide People support to wider CBRE projects and initiatives
Person Specification/Requirements
* Human resources degree or equivalent
* Chartered status of the CIPD preferred.
* Experience of People Business Partnering with senior management in a generalist HR role
* Experience working in a fast paced and matrixed organisation.
* Extensive knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations experience
* Track record of leading transformation and change initiatives.
* Proficient in MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and experience with HR systems (preferably Peoplesoft)
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
* Proactive approach to work and ability to work autonomously and as part of wider team.
* Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met.
* Accurate and exceptional attention to detail.
