As an Environmental Project Engineer, you will act as a key technical focal point throughout the product lifecycle. From concept definition and design support to formal qualification and in-service support, you’ll contribute to a wide range of critical activities. These include: Defining and managing requirements. Developing proving methodologies and managing projects. Conducting data analysis, simulation, modelling, and testing in areas like climatic conditions, mechanical vibration, shock, and fatigue. You’ll bring specialist technical knowledge to ensure the accuracy and successful delivery of projects, working within defined work packages. What are we looking for in our next Environmental Project Engineer? A degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Proven experience in planning, managing, and delivering small to medium-sized work packages. Knowledge of environmental engineering within the defence sector or a related industry. Familiarity with environmental factors such as vibration, shock, temperature, and humidity, and their relevance across product lifecycle stages. An understanding of environmental testing processes, measurements, and instrumentation. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
