My client is looking for a Sales/Marketing Manager to work at an Education Establishment around the Royal Tunbridge Wells area. This is a Full-time Permanent role, and it will be working Term-time only (39 weeks per year + 5 INSET days, plus additional 2 weeks to be worked during the summer holidays and paid on claim).
Salary: Kent Range 9: FTE: £32,933-£37,188 (actual salary based on working TTO £(phone number removed)).
Purpose of the Position:
This diverse role will encompass the three core functions of Marketing, Fundraising and Alumni to cultivate a coherent and dynamic school development strategy serving a breadth of internal and external stakeholders.
You will be a passionate, resourceful, and creative individual, who is an efficient administrator and strong communicator, with an appreciation of the transformational impact of education. You will be responsible for the alumni relations, development, marketing and fundraising activities of the school.

Main Areas You Will Be Focusing On:
Marketing
Ensure the school continues to thrive and have a strong reputation. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, as well as creative marketing abilities and entrepreneurial instincts are required. Effective influencing skills, combined with charisma to act as a compelling ambassador for the school, are crucial.
Fundraising
To play an important part in developing exciting projects to benefit the pupils, our alumni and our staff and governors. It entails generating significant funds, initially for a renovation of our Science labs, but subsequently for ongoing development programmes to provide the best experiences and opportunities for the students whilst at school and providing a springboard to their future studies and careers. Fundraising will take various forms, including bid writing and campaign events.
Alumni
To foster excellent alumni relations to build and strengthen relationships between TWGSB and its community of school leavers, friends and donors: maximising support opportunities within the school, building engagement and financial contribution to development projects. You will maintain the school's alumni portal and be the main contact for alumni.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement marketing, alumni and fundraising communication plan.
2. Production of digital and print marketing collateral and communications including social media content.
3. Co-ordinate school marketing, fundraising and alumni events.
4. Research and draft applications to trusts, funds, individuals, alumni etc.
5. Build relationships with the local business community to support reputation, fundraising and careers.
6. Provide centralised control of PR, marketing activities, and alumni/fundraising activities such as database management, events and e-newsletters.
7. Processing gifts and general donor correspondence.
8. Communicate the internal message regarding school development.
9. Develop and manage the alumni and parent fundraising database (ToucanTech).
10. General alumni/donor communications, engagement and stewardship.
11. Comply with all Safeguarding and Child Protection regulations.
12. Be aware and adhere to the school code of conduct and confidentiality.
13. Manage and motivate volunteers working on school development campaigns and provide a central Board liaison point.
14. Undertake any other duties in keeping with this role, always aware of the audience: the pupils, the staff, the parents, prospective parents, alumni, sponsors and donors.
