They are looking for a part-time Engagement and Ops Executive to join their busy, small team. The Role The role focuses on membership engagement, event planning, operational support, marketing assistance and general administrative tasks. Reporting to the Marketing Manager / Operations Manager your role will be interesting and varied. Responsibilities include: Membership Engagement and Events: Coordinate and deliver engagement activities and events to increase membership numbers and provide engaging CPD content for existing membership base, via newsletters, surveys, webinars and awards. Assist in planning and delivering in-person and virtual events, training and consultancy for members and partners, considering novel delivery methods and ensuring high quality deliverables and customer satisfaction. Internal Communications: Source content, suggest themes, create and distribute the monthly internal newsletter. Organise birthday cards, leaving gifts and team quarterly and ad hoc meetings and events. General Operational Support: Occasional internal finance support such as creating purchase orders. Serve as the key contact for IT projects and issue laptops to new employees. General Administration and Office Management: Source stationery and office supplies. General care of the office, liaising with relevant suppliers (landlord, internet provider, fire extinguisher supplier etc). Health and Safety The Candidate To be successful in this role youll embrace the energy and variety that a small business offers, happy to jump in to help and thinking of creative ways to drive the organisation forward. Youll be able to demonstrate: Proven experience in B2B event planning, B2B marketing, operations and/or office administration. Ability to self-manage and motivate. A can-do attitude. Experience of working in a small organisation, where processes may require writing or improving regularly and priorities may change at short notice. Strong communication, organisation and multitasking skills. Commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion. Terms The role is a part-time, permanent position seeking 28 hrs/wk (0.8 FTE). The role requires core hours covered Mon-Fri, ie, 10am-2pm. Outside of that, there is flexibility on how the hours are structured. The role is hybrid with core office days of Monday and Wednesday based in the Harpenden office and other days worked from home (or office if desired). A salary of up to £40k FTE is on offer depending on experience (actual salary of up to £32k for 28 hours.)
