ASD Teaching Assistant
Location: Potters Green, Coventry (CV2)
Daily Rate: £95-£105
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Contract: Long-Term to Permanent
We are seeking a nurturing, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner mainstream primary schools in Potters Green, Coventry.
This role involves working 1:1 with a Reception child diagnosed with ASD, based in a well-equipped specialist resource hub within the school. You will be part of a supportive team of teaching assistants and SEN teachers. The position is offered on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent role within the school.
- Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or a relevant equivalent.
- Proven experience providing 1:1 support for children with additional needs.
- Experience working with SEN, specifically ASD, Speech, Language, and Communication Needs.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow the direction of the class teacher effectively.
- Knowledge of maintaining, updating, and reviewing EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans).
- Familiarity with the UK EYFS primary curriculum.
- Located in Potters Green, Coventry (CV2).
