Summary
The objective of the Sustainability Regulation and Reporting Section Manager is to drive activities across the AMIEO region to support fulfilling our duty to comply with various sustainability-related regulations and directives as well as promote a culture of proactivity, transparency, and transformation. This will be accomplished through enhanced regulatory scanning practices, protocols, and dissemination of information, embedding requirements into new or improved business roles and practices. Awareness and understanding of often complex regulations and directives, the ability to translate, plan, and communicate effectively to maximize the engagement of and collaboration with various stakeholders is key to success.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
1. Develop and/or strengthen processes to identify trends/developments related to sustainability regulation and reporting requirements using internal and external resources/methods.
2. Assist direct manager to define and notify business of risk from emerging sustainability regulation and reporting requirements, including recommending actions in line with protocols when necessary.
3. Liaise with regional and global counterparts to align on sustainability regulation and reporting requirements necessary to comply.
4. Oversee project management of sustainability regulation and reporting activity assigned to Corporate Governance and Sustainability, e.g. Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
5. Engage third parties as needed to support reporting and sustainability regulation activity (e.g. Professional associations, Legal / External and Governmental Affairs, consultants).

6. Support internal and external business queries relating to sustainability regulation and reporting.
7. Support projects and activity relating to sustainability regulation and reporting as directed by direct manager.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Required background, experience, and education:
8. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in sustainability, governmental affairs, compliance, business, law, or related discipline.
9. 5+ years of experience with a large multinational company.
10. Experience working on sustainability/regulation-related projects preferred.
11. Experience with or participation in relevant industry forums preferred.
Skills, abilities, and languages:
12. Understanding of regulation and its role in driving sustainable business practice.
13. Knowledge of sustainability regulation and reporting requirements.
14. Ability to interpret complex requirements and explain to a wide-ranging audience.
