Nursery: Bright Horizons Tytherington Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: £23,795 - £24,280 pro rata (dependant on qualification/s and experience)
Location: Macclesfield
We are looking for a part-time (20 hours per week), passionate Early Years Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Tytherington Nursery, situated in the Tytherington area of Macclesfield and close to transport links to the city centre.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Working as part of a nursery team looking after babies and children up to the age of 5.
2. Having daily adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and helping them with their curious minds through the learning curriculum.
3. Communicating with parents daily on their child’s activities.
4. Providing a caring and supportive environment where the children feel safe and looked after.
5. Supporting colleagues in encouraging the children’s development towards key milestones.
6. Promoting and ensuring child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
What we’re looking for:
1. Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential - Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
2. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
3. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents.
4. Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
5. Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
