We are recruiting for a Non-Food Retail Implementation Manager to lead the implementation of our George & GM store refresh programme, working with property and other key stakeholders to ensure the change lands right first time. Working in partnership with retail to ensure standards of implementation are maintained, to drive future benefits and payback target.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the implementation of each individual store plan across our non-food proposition whilst tailoring to the local store needs.
* Manage the critical path, including scheduling, and hold stakeholders to account for on-time delivery.
* Work with central trading teams on supply, markdowns & modulars.
* Identify and flag risks throughout the project to keep on track and deliver to deadlines.
* Support the retail engagement & fit for change process for each store including pre-start visits & on-site working throughout each store refresh.
* Deliver the model store standard on visual merchandising for the opening of each scheme.
* Lead and upskill the field team to deliver consistent high standards across all schemes.
* Conduct post-implementation reviews to drive key actions & opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Good level of retail experience within the non-food markets.
* Strong organisational skills to manage the implementation of multiple schemes.
* Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels – both within and beyond our business.
* Effective leadership skills to motivate and develop the field implementation team.
* Ability to develop and maintain cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
* Visual expertise within Clothing, Home, and General Merchandise retailing.
* Analytical and commercially driven, with a flair for problem solving.
* Agile and an effective decision maker, willing to move and learn fast.
