Nursing - Aged Care (Healthcare & Medical)
Mayflower Brighton is seeking a Quality Business Partner, who will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance across Mayflower’s Aged Care Homes and Home Care Services.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager - Quality, Risk & Compliance, this role focuses on supporting managers and staff in accreditation and risk management, overseeing audits, and developing action plans. It includes reviewing and managing policies, promoting quality outcomes, and ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and standards. Additionally, the role seeks to identify and implement innovative projects that enhance best practices in resident care and seniors living outcomes, contributing to the ongoing development of Mayflower’s quality framework.

About the Role:
* Part Time, 3 days per week (45.6 hours per fortnight)
* Oversight and implementation of the requirements of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, including self-assessment, gap analysis, mandatory reporting and preparation for accreditation.
* Ensure compliance with current acts, legislation, regulations, codes and standards.
* Analyse data and report trends via monthly reports on compliance and quality activities to appropriate areas and EDACSL.
* Identify and train internal staff in CQI auditing in collaboration with the relevant Managers.
* Management of complaints and incidents.
* Provide leadership in promoting an organisational culture of person centred care.
The successful candidate will:
* Be a division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Continuous Improvement or Compliance role in the aged care industry.
* Demonstrate understanding of the principles of continuous improvement and application of quality management processes.
* Have an understanding of the aged care quality standards and experience with accreditation.
* Experience in managing change.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills and effective communication skills.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in staff development.
* Current NDIS check or ability to obtain one.
* Tertiary qualification in a health or management discipline.
* The successful completion of a formal quality management education program at a recognised institution.
* Infection Prevention Control experience.
