Account Technician
South West, Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours, up to £55,000 DOE

Job Responsibilities:
1. Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders up to the audit threshold.
2. Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns.
3. Providing bookkeeping and management accounting services.
4. Filing Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs documents on client's behalf.
5. Ensuring that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date.
6. Dealing with the preparation and completion of quarterly VAT returns.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience of working at an Accounts Technician or Semi-Senior level in an accountancy practice.
2. AAT qualified; however, part-qualified or qualified by experience is also considered.
3. Previous experience in accounts preparation for limited companies and unincorporated businesses.
4. Outgoing, socially confident, and emotionally controlled.
5. A positive attitude, friendly and approachable.
6. Resilient, able to multi-task and work independently/flexibly.
7. Adaptable, organised, and conscientious.
8. Takes the initiative, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
