Role
Are you an experienced Lecturer in Brickwork looking to join a vibrant, forward-looking College that is the first choice for both learners and employers? We are seeking to appoint a Course Leader to take responsibility for the delivery and development of our Brickwork programmes.
Working with the staff in your delivery team, under the management of the Curriculum Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring annual key performance indicators are achieved consistently across your designated curriculum area.
As the Course Leader and Lecturer for Brickwork, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to ensure successful learner outcomes and to maximise each student's potential to progress to their chosen career path.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and effective teaching to students on Level 1-3 Bricklaying courses.
* Implement robust feedback and assessment systems to monitor learner progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
* Operate within the Quality Assurance framework to provide outstanding learning experiences as outlined in the Hugh Baird lesson framework.
* Manage course registrations and qualification claims, and oversee course organization and administration.
* Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and innovation.
* Lead the curriculum team in creating initial assessments and assessment schedules.
Essential Criteria
* Possess a minimum of a relevant Level 3 vocational qualification
* Track record of successful teaching experience across a range of levels, including up to level 3
* Detailed knowledge of relevant course subject matter and examination and assessment requirements
* Experience in developing and maintaining external partnerships to enrich teaching and learning.
* Ability to inspire, motivate and raise the aspirations of learners through high-quality teaching
* Innovative in response to changing circumstances, identifying and or implementing new or improved approaches
