Job Description
We are seeking a commercially minded Engineering Account Manager to support our Rail Business Manager by managing existing accounts and engaging with our onsite engineering teams. Prior account management experience with a proven track record of client engagement and account penetration is essential. This role is vital to achieving our growth plan through 2025 and beyond.
You will serve as the primary contact for customers and onsite engineers.
Customer Management:
1. Develop strong relationships with existing clients.
2. Expand our network within current clients.
3. Understand client needs and advise on effective solutions.
4. Track and report project status.
5. Conduct onsite visits.
6. Maintain regular stakeholder touchpoints.
7. Drive account penetration.
Staff Management and Retention:
1. Ensure successful onboarding of staff.
2. Hold regular onsite meetings to ensure high morale and engagement, understanding staff and client needs.
3. Act as the point of contact for timesheet and payroll queries, resolving issues promptly.
4. Report staff feedback.
5. Assist with annual reviews.
Recruitment:
1. Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards, social media (e.g., LinkedIn), networking, referrals, and headhunting to attract qualified candidates.
2. Create engaging and effective job advertisements.
3. Screen applications and CVs to assess suitability.
4. Conduct thorough interviews to evaluate skills, experience, qualifications, and cultural fit.
5. Manage the candidate journey with regular updates and feedback.
6. Coordinate interview schedules.
7. Build talent pools.
