We are currently recruiting for an interim Deputy Children's Home Manager in Sheffield to cover maternity leave.
Duties involve:
* Supporting the Children's Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
* Providing leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring a high standard of care and safeguarding for all children and young people.
* Ensuring that all regulatory requirements, including those set by Ofsted, are met
* Fostering a supportive and caring environment, promoting the well-being and development of children in care
* Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
* Leading by example, maintaining a professional and compassionate approach at all times
Key Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience working in a children's residential setting is essential
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and regulatory frameworks
* Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent (Level 5 preferred)
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* A commitment to providing the best possible care to vulnerable children and young people
