Position: Pricing Manager Department: Commercial Operations Location: Greater London Reporting Line: Head of Commercial Operations Purpose of the Role: We are seeking an experienced Pricing Manager to manage contract pricing, maintain master price lists, and monitor gross profit levels. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring pricing accuracy and managing customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Pricing Management: Create and review detailed pricing worksheets and master price lists (MPL) ensuring accuracy. Monitor and explain cost variances, offering recommendations as needed. Support sales during tenders to maintain agreed margins. Internal Collaboration: Work with senior management, finance, operations, IT, and other teams to ensure smooth pricing processes. Ensure accurate billing by reviewing invoices during pricing or menu changes. Team Leadership: Manage a team of Analysts, monitoring workloads and performance against KPIs. Provide coaching, set objectives, and support team development and training. Reporting & Compliance: Provide regular reports to senior management, ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate data systems with proper documentation. Skills & Experience: Good understanding of food production methods (where applicable). Advanced Excel and Word skills; ability to work with various databases. Strong financial awareness, including food costs and labour values. High attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Commercial and contractual knowledge with a focus on profitability. Accuracy and timeliness of pricing and MPL documents. Reporting Line: Reports to: Head of Commercial Operations
