As we continue to expand, we're excited to open our doors for a Business Development Manager to join our team!
As Business Development Manager you will develop purposeful relationships that drive sales of our Sharpsmart services; working within the NHS and private health sector focusing on targeted KDMs. You will work as part of a team on large projects to implement the Sharpsmart system across your territory.
This role can be based from any location in England and will require regular travel to customer and Sharpsmart sites.
What will your role involve?
* To maximise product sales by utilising a high level of product knowledge and selling skills.
* To interact with stakeholders to establish an informed knowledge of clinical data and the market.
* To create new business opportunities by investigating accounts and establishing relationships with relevant clinical and procurement stakeholders.
* To manage your territory by delivering strategic objectives into each of your targeted accounts, delivering impactful and actionable meetings and presentations.
* To liaise with all of Sharpsmart internal business areas teams to successfully put forward innovative solutions.
* Identification of further upsell opportunities within healthcare waste management consultancy and clinical waste collection services.
Who are we looking for?
* 3+ years demonstrable success and proven experience in healthcare waste sales
* Proven experience of working with NHS and/or private healthcare stakeholder groups in a sales/development capacity
* Great communication skills with the ability to effectively manage projects
* Ability to prioritise and organise your own workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment whilst working with and supporting the wider team
* Able to identify knowledge gaps and develop potentials
* Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
* Driving licence and willingness to travel with overnight stays
