About the Role The Demand Planner ensures that our organisation meets future demand to continue operating as effectively and efficiently as possible. Responsible for all forecasting activities associated with spares demand, the demand planner works cross-functionally to monitor and report essential changes to material demand based on spares usage, sales forecasts, business strategies, product change and project schedules. This involves the management of consumption data, reliability data, MRP demand data input, S&OP demand planning, supporting the management of priorities and resolution of planning exceptions and implementing solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy. What you will be doing Responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of the Spares Demand Plan within Fusion. Management of forecast demand, proposing and implementing solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy Review of NPI demand, supporting with roll out to new and existing sites Engaging with product specialist teams to validate and update assumptions on future demand. Working with Procurement and Central Spares to assess demand risks and adjust demand accordingly. Enforcing the demand change control process, updating demand plans as required in compliance with proper authorizations Provide actionable data analysis to support business scenarios for demand plans using data-driven methods Analysing data and constructing reports to evaluate inventory holding at site and in Central warehouses. Analysing MRP runs / stock availability reports and supporting the Spares Supply Planning team in managing priorities, reviewing and resolving exceptions, including the development of resolution scenarios and impact assessment Review of product change, excess and obsolescence to minimise obsolete inventory. Owning the demand management processes and identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement Develop and maintain demand planning tools, ensuring consistency of approach that enables global scaling Engaging and communicating efficiently with internal customers and other functions as necessary About you Minimum : 2 years of supply chain experience, ideally within a demand planning role Demonstrated knowledge of materials requirement planning (MRP) and inventory management processes Knowledge of operational processes and experience with ERP systems Strong analytical skills, capable of handling large data sets, with a high level of attention to detail Self-motivated contributor with well-developed organisational skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment - able to multitask with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines IT literate - Google Software Suite, MS Office applications and excellent organisation skills Preferred (in addition to minimum): Experience within an after sales service environment Experience of working with supply chain processes in an engineering environment.
