This is an exciting opportunity to join a team delivering internationally significant environmental projects across the North and West of the Lake District. As part of the communications and marketing team, you'll work across our portfolio supporting a wide range of projects and events. Using the full marketing mix, you’ll tell the stories of our work caring for the Lake District.
You'll work 15 hours a week until the end of the 24-month contract.
What it's like to work here:
Your contractual location will be Borrowdale and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
The North and West Lakes is a large countryside portfolio which includes Wasdale, the home of England’s tallest mountain, Buttermere where the Rannerdale bluebells attract springtime crowds and Borrowdale, where Derwent Water plays host to millions of visitors every year. It's an exciting time to be joining the team with many projects coming to light which range from accessibility in the outdoors to garden exhibitions to large scale landscape recovery projects.
With so many stories to tell and a lot of land to cover, you'll occasionally need to travel to one of our sites to speak with members of the team, snap some photo...
