The Hilton Central School District has a vacancy for an Assistant Principal's Secretary at the High School. This is a 12 month, 7.5 hour/day position to support the Assistant Principal and school clerical work. This position requires the Civil Service title of Office Clerk III; therefore, only those candidates who are currently working in this title, or whose name appears on the current Civil Service eligible list will be considered.

Job Qualifications
Applicants must be reachable on the Monroe County Civil Service eligible list, or currently working in this title in order to be considered.
Desirable Attributes:
* A customer service approach to working with students, parents/guardians, and staff.
* Skilled in the operation of computer programs (Microsoft and Google), and able to learn others (Infinite Campus, SmartFind, SchoolFront).
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Professionalism, confidentiality, and composure required; must have strong communication skills and ability to deal effectively with difficult situations and/or parent concerns.
* Works well under pressure; times of high volume work and ability to independently prioritize and multi-task is a must.
* Managing the Assistant Principal's calendar as well as additional duties to be determined.
* High School experience is a plus.
