From next term, an Oldham Primary school is looking for a learning support assistant to work 1:1 with a boy in Year 4 with additional needs and working on the Year 1 curriculum.
Day to day responsibilities:
1. Supporting child with learning
2. Nurturing activities
3. Emotional and social support
4. Interventions
As a learning support assistant, you will provide strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil, being vigilant to their cues and needs, which will require you to think on the spot and be flexible with his timetable. The pupil will require some emotional support.
